The Cat's Glasses is a Denver-based, genre-bending instrumental fusion band, with a sound influenced by jazz, jam bands, neo-soul, funk, and classic rock. They play goofy music, they play serious music, and they always put on a show that's high-energy and fun.

After over a decade of collaborating on original music projects as a professional trombonist and arranger, Jon Gauer started this band as a vehicle for his own music. Members of The Cat's Glasses are also active elsewhere in the Colorado music scene, performing with groups such as Tansy Wine, Dr. Lunch, Vanimal Kingdom, Corgi Cartel, Grey Rails, Messenger Music Collective, Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, Ben Markley Big Band, and many more.
